I’m sorry for missing a week. Between physical health flare ups, a new diagnosis, and waiting on blood test results my depression and anxiety made a major comeback last week. The harshest thing about depression is the apathy that it fills me with. With everything else sapping away my energy and no interest in anything, just dropping myself out of bed right was a challenge to say the least. I did, however, manage to get dressed and leave the house everyday as a critical part of some self-care. But I just could not muster the focus and energy to finish this post (or even look at the computer screen long enough to do it.)
But in an effort to drag myself out of the darkness I personally focused on passion last week. I’m starting to see the light again but still want to make passion something to focus on this week.
Passion is an energy builder, it connects people to each other and to life. It is something I know I have, somewhere inside me, I just have to summon it. I may have to drag it out kicking and screaming, but I am going to continue attacking it with all the energy I can muster.
So I hope these wise words can help ignite some passion with you this week.
